Kidz Holiday Show!

The South Carolina Shakespeare Company is looking for 4th-8th graders for a live performance of a collection of Holiday Stories on December 17, at the Richland County Library on Assembly Street.

Under the direction of a classically trained, working actor and teacher, Katie Mixon, students will learn skills of rehearsal, scene study and live performance. Students will participate in 7 rehearsals, including a dress rehearsal, and 1 performance. All who sign up are guaranteed a central acting role in the show and performance experience to add to their resume!

$160 per student includes class instruction and direction, script, certificate, and performance. Classes taught by South Carolina Shakespeare Company member, KATIE MIXON. Katie received her post graduate degree in Classical Acting from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. Katie specialized in Historical Dance, Applied Movement and Elizabethan and Jacobean Theatre-- focusing on Shakespeare. While in London, Katie was able to take on some amazing roles, and is excited to share her training with fellow South Carolinians! Katie has been a member of the SCSC since 2000.
