Much Ado About Nothing Student Matinee 
Mark your calendars for the third week in January 2012. The SC Shakespeare Company in partnership with Hammond School is pleased to announce that we are again hosting special student matinees of Much Ado About Nothing for middle and high school students. We are excited to once again serve as Artists-in-Residence at Hammond School and hope that you will join us for this singular event. This show has toured around the state since May of this year and received wonderful reviews.
The show will be presented for students in the Bank of America Theatre on the Hammond School campus on Wednesday & Thursday, January 19th at 9:30 AM and 1:40 PM each day. The show will last 90 minutes, and the price for students is $5.00 per person. Chaperones are admitted free! We don't want you to miss this critically acclaimed and hilarious production and hope to hear from you soon! We will also provide our audiences with a chance to talk with the actors, the director, the fight choreographer, and technical staff following the show. In addition to our professional production, we offer a complete study guide to all educators who attend with their students, for use in areas of English, History, Drama, Poetry, and Language Arts. As the works of William Shakespeare are integrated into the curriculum of South Carolina schools, we feel strongly that this educational outreach of a professional theatrical presentation would be of great and lasting benefit for your students.
